My husband is putting our daughter to sleep and I just opened a big box of Christmas festivity. This is my favorite time of year. We always decorate the tree with Mardi Gras beads and the angel on top is a traditional Mexican doll. She's so pretty. What are your holiday traditions?
What a beautiful and colorful idea! I'm a Southern girl so Mardi Gras festivities are familiar to me.
ReplyDeleteWe have a set of matching ornaments (metallic balls of gold and red and silver) that we use for the tree so it looks nice and uniform. And I also put up the little feathered birds with wire fee.
But mixed in are ornaments of all different types. We buy 1 new and unique ornament each year, write the year on the back, and it becomes part of the collection.
